My goal and greatest challenge when it comes to my profession is it to create an office, staff, and experience that patients look forward to revisiting. Through excellence in dentistry, we look to create a home for patients and their dental needs. Every day on the job, I ensure I achieve excellence in everything I do so that I can better benefit my patients. It impresses me that my patients care enough about their health that they are motivated to keep up with it themselves and make my job easy!
My staff and I enjoy spending time with patients so much that it makes work a fun place. Through providing excellent dental care, we have found a way to truly enjoy what we do and who we see. In short, our team rocks! We really enjoy every day and we only ask for the chance to prove it.

I obtained my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. When I finished school, I trained in an oral surgery internship at the University of Florida. I also believe continuing education is imperative to my profession. Every year, I get about three times as much continuing education as required by the state.
In addition, I am a member of the following groups:
I grew up in Montgomery, AL, and have been living in Charleston, SC, for the past four years. I have an awesome best friend and wife, Joanna, and two young children. We are very family-centered and enjoy the challenge of creating well-rounded, respectful, and capable children.
My wife and I enjoy food, sports, playing with our kids, church, and music. We have our foot on the gas and we don’t slow down! Whether it’s meeting friends for dinner, watching a game, or teaching our kids about football or whatever they are being taught at church school, we are on the move.
I believe it is important to be an active part of the community. I am an eager dental mission volunteer, which is something I am very passionate about.
I have recently had the opportunity to join the Goose Creek community and provide dental care in the Goose Creek Dental Care Office. I have already been welcomed by several patients and the awesome staff, but I look forward to meeting many more of you in the near future!

When I’m not working, I love to spend most of my free time hanging out with my husband, Grant and my dog, Carly, as well as other family and friends. I love to be outside riding on the boat or even taking walks on trails and the beach. Trying new restaurants and traveling are also two of my favorite things to do and just recently, a friend got me hooked on a television show called Criminal Minds!
I am extremely excited and anxious to be working with the Goose Creek Dental Care office and look forward to the many opportunities to be a part of your community inside as well as outside of the dental setting. I can’t wait to meet you!
As the newest member to The Goose Creek Dental Care team, I am very excited to know that I am working with the friendliest staff and the most skilled and knowledgeable doctors I know. I was born in Southeastern North Carolina and moved to Charleston in 1991 to attend the College of Charleston. In 1995, I graduated CofC with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. I spent nine years in the workforce as an employee of the Medical University of South Carolina obtaining critical skills in Oncology, Adult and Pediatric trauma, and Cardiac rehab. I left MUSC for one of those nine years to work as a medical sales representative servicing Cardiac catheterization labs in the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
As I watched the changes taking place in the medical field, I decided to pursue dentistry. Graduating from the College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2008, I immediately entered the workforce. I obtain and maintain my Continuing Education learning from our profession leaders and professional organizations. I am a member of the South Carolina Dental Association and the Coastal District Dental Society.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife and two boys. We stay busy with church, school, and music activities. I am an ASCAP affiliated songwriter, and I have the pleasure of writing and recording music at some of Charleston’s best studios. I also enjoy an active lifestyle with weight training, surfing, and martial arts. I am a Carolina boy… born and raised!!
Dental hygiene is more than just a job for me—it’s about establishing lifelong relationships with my patients. I have a genuine interest in each patient’s life and family. Each hygiene appointment is an event I look forward to! When not at work, I enjoy filling my time with all kinds of creative hobbies, craft projects and yard work. I love turning the fruits from my trees into jam! “Bored” is not a part of my vocabulary.
I love working with Dr. Barganier and the rest of our team to meet the oral health needs of our patients! I enjoy building trusting relationships with each patient and providing the best care possible.
When I’m not working, I love to shop, travel with my husband Michael, spend time with family, and playing with our new black lab Bella!
I graduated from Francis Marion University and am from Myrtle Beach, SC. I love working with three dentists and a dental team that I respect, trust, and have fun with every day. One of the things I enjoy most about working at Goose Creek Dental Care is getting to know all our wonderful patients and helping them overcome dental fears.
I am recently engaged and enjoy traveling, reading, beach yoga, and bike riding all over Goose Creek, SC with my fiancée.
I have 15 years of professional and dental office experience, and am the Goose Creek Dental Care team’s resident expert on all subjects relating to insurance and billing. I love developing meaningful relationships with my patients while taking care of their dental hygiene and helping educate them on the best ways to keep their mouths healthy. When I’m not cleaning teeth I love to spend time with my husband, Aaron, our daughter, and our two dogs. I also enjoy photography, the outdoors, and giving back to my church.
I strive to continue Goose Creek Dental Care’s tradition of providing excellent dental care and empowering patients with the information they need to keep it going at home. I focus on helping patients understand how their diet affects their oral health, and how oral health plays an important role in keeping the whole body healthy. I love spending time with her patients and getting to know them better with each cleaning. In my free time, I can be found boating with my husband, Lee, our daughters, Lauren, Payton, and Ashton, our son-in-law, JW, our grandson, Wyatt, and of course, our family dog, Piper.
I work directly with Dr. Barganier during all different types of procedures. In addition to assisting with fillings, implants, crowns, bridges, and Invisalign®, I make it my mission to give my patients something to smile about. Patients who are apprehensive about dental work often find that I am able to melt their worries away, a talent I loves to put to use. Outside of the office, you will likely find me camping, relaxing at the beach, baking, and spending quality time with my husband, Bobby, and our two sons, Robbie and Andrew.
I help coordinate patient visits through communication, scheduling, and filing insurance claims. People tell me my passion for meeting patients’ needs with the best care is evident in every one of my calls, texts, emails, and in-person conversations—I’m so honored. In fact, I prefer to think of my patients as family. When I’m not in the office, you might find me spending time with my family, Adam and Allyssa, reenacting Civil War battles, cheering for the Gamecocks, cooking, or reading. I am also active in the Relay for Life and a member of Eastern Star.
